Expert warns Bitcoin could decrease after being institutionalised.
David Garrity, chief executive officer at GVA Research LLC warns Bitcoin’s price could drop to $5,000.

While Speaking to Bloomberg onhow to chart the metric rise of bitcoin, he said: “Well I’m just doing it more on a broad sense of seeing what the general levels from which there are actual moves over the last six months.

“Arguing to the extent, we had seen sort of this meteoric rise in the fourth quarter going on to almost $20,000 again.

“Now we’ve had more of an institutionalisation of the market with the introduction of the futures trading coming out of the CME and the CBOE.

“As I said, we aren’t necessarily at a point at a fully blown market to the extent that we can go out and short bitcoin outright.

“But at least we can use the futures markets to try and approximate synthetic shorts in the regard."

Bitcoin popularity in 2017 has caused it's price to skyrocket along with increase in price of other alt's coin.

Bitcoin fell 8.89 percent to £10,498.69 at 22:16 in London, according to coindesk.com.
