DOW now off almost 1000 points since the STATMAN "calls danger" on December 12th. Is there a worthwhile "bounce" on the horizon? And, BITCOIN'S stagnancy and tight range. Where is the breakout?

Good afternoon my Steemian friends.

Well let's do a little follow up on our post of 9 days ago, JUNE 12 stating DANGER for the DOW! Remember this was our call recommending if you did not sell in January at over 26,000 this might be your last decent chance! We did call BUY in APRIL at 23,500 looking for precisely a move over 25,000. In fact we have said repeatedly the Plunge Protectors could even attempt to prop this fake market up near new highs for election time. Heck, they still might!

See the chart above up to the moment, Dow Jones 24,480. There is solid support about 150 points below. This does not appear to me to be an outstanding trade should we get a bounce off the lower Bollinger Band (bottom of the shaded area) because SENTIMENT they told me Danger at 25,400 is not bullish enough. Plainly stated, the don't worry be happy crowd is out in force. We feel the Trump bull market is over. Money is better place elsewhere. That does not at all mean we see a crash.

Regarding BITCOIN, see the chart below, we are in a tight trading range with serious resistance just above our current 6700 level and support really not far below at roughly 6200.

But, there is good news! there has been an uptick in SENTIMENT. More bears have surface, just not enough. We are at HOLD. I just am not in the "camp" of those calling 2000 and 4000 for bottoms, etc, etc. We may go sideways in this range a while and that would be positive. There is no breakout on the upside to be seen here, and downside should be fairly well contained. Things could get quite positive by the fall.
