Eric interrupted the school and did not do GED (equivalent to the Polish Matura exam). It results from the belief that the school has no value - there is no guarantee of finding a job. He had learned to run a business by himself, preferring to write emails to important people, rather than school dissertations. The boy thinks that the current educational system has no future - the educational structure is ill-conceived and does not affect anyone.
