Bcore vs Bitcoin Cash.
Interesting war going on between Bcore (Bitcoin Original) and Bitcoin Cash. We've all seen the crash recent days where Bitcoin Cash plummeted to around 10% of Bcore's (Bitcoin) value.
So is Bitcoin Cash an alt coin?
It seems to me that Bitcoin Cash is actually more Bitcoin than the current version of Bitcoin which relies on 3rd party software called Segwit to be able to scale and compete. Is Bitcoin the same thing having to rely on a corporation to do it's thing? Seems to me that kills the whole decentralized thing. But what about the proposed Segwit 2x? When that happens in November Bitcoin will then fork yet again and the Segwit 2x version will be no different than Bitcoin Cash except that Bitcoin Cash doesn't need a 3rd party software and will be truly decentralized unlike Segweit 2x version of BTC.
I wonder which is the real bitcoin?
An entity called "Blockstream" will control Bitcoin with Segwit 2x and that would mean that Bitcoin will no longer be decentralized. It will be controlled.
I am curious what are your thoughts on Bicore vs Bitcoin Cash....
The biggest question you have to ask yourself is what will happen in November when Bitcoin splits again into 2 coins with Segwit, we will have 3 Bitcoins at that point. 2 of which need a 3rd party to control and 1 of which is purely decentralized.
The one that is decentralized is Bitcoin Cash.
For me the answer is simple.
Cryptocurrency should remain decentralized... that's the whole point of it... now isn't it?
"Bitcoin Classic" is actually the name of one of the software implementations of Bitcoin, which can be found here: https://bitcoinclassic.com (ironically it supports both the unforked chain and the forked chain, Bitcoin Cash)
I prefer to refer to the unforked Bitcoin chain as "Bitcoin Original", or "Bitcore", "Bcore", or anything other than "Bitcoin", really, because it becomes less like Bitcoin the more days that pass.
+1 for your post
Thanks! I like Bcore for it! Bcore it is, will update my blog!
Interesting post, yeah we'll see what happens. Come on China, pump BTCC back up again, haha.
I'm sure it's coming
Nailed it. Upvoted and followed.
Except I don't think Core-Coin will make it to November.
It’s February. Bitcoin made it
