**Average Broke Guy Investing In Crypto**

I'm a 42 year old Airline Pilot who's recently unemployed and broke. Long story short, I lost my retirement when the market crashed in 2008. Shortly after I was diagnosed with a rare medical condition. Due to this, I lost my flight medical and was grounded. I've have been struggling ever since.
I do have a Business degree, but haven't used it in 20 years. I've managed to save a small amount of money over the last few years and am choosing to invest it in crypto. I realize it's risky, but firmly believe it's the future. I also would like to build a nice nest egg for myself and my family. I don't trust government currency as it can be inflated. Look at Venezuela for example...their money has become worthless these past few years. The only way I know to hedge against inflation, and build a nice security blanket with a small amount of money, is investing in crypto.
My plan is to research every company I can to try and weed out the good from the bad...and there are a lot of bad coins folks. Even the good ones are risky, as they're mostly just concepts...not real world, functioning products. Most of them do NOT fill a want or need. They simply sell a concept. I plan on posting a non bias opinion on the companies I feel are promising. I also plan to separate the pump and dump coins, good short term coins and good long term holds. Everyone has different strategies, so knowing the differences are key.
Very few people are gifted day traders. I'm certainly not. That said, finding coins that you know are solid investments, not just hype, becomes a must if your going to make a decent return. I'm certainly no expert. As the title says, I'm just an average broke guy. What I can do is share with people my findings and opinions. What you choose to do with that information is up to you.
