Ideas, unfortunately, can not be protected.

Plans, inventions, documents, recordings etc. have various protections.

If your idea is a product or invention and you know how to bring it about, make it (or at least draw up specific plans) and patent it. This protects it for a certain period of time.

If you have a great idea, but you don't know how to turn it into a product or service, find a lawyer you trust. Draw up a document outlining who has what rights to the project, and that document becomes the legal protection. Also, don't give each team member any more information than they need to do their part of the project. Unfortunately, if you get an untrustworthy team with more financial means you may still get the short stick, as they say.

Overall, there are no "guaranteed" protections for ideas, only for works or inventions.

Hope that helped.

There is a way when presenting an idea to a firm or company to have a privacy clause of some kind. So if the company went behind your back and started your idea claiming it as there own, you have said document. Yes informative and thank you. Its a digital masterpiece what im talking about and would require a trustworthy team. Really crazy world.

Write about it in Steemit so even if they steal it you can still claim it was your own and perhaps get compensation?

Lol, it wouldnt be bulletproof but a solid move possibly.
