Yes but its not a crypto its a digital coin and its only for internal banking. However its centralized and its not used for payment transfer across the world. Banks to banks only which can be trusted by both sources can only be used, so this blockchain is fully centralized so it can't play a big role, its only for internal banking transfers. Only thing process within centralized banks will be faster but not for payments across the world.
