Cashing in on Ripple? Run a trial & remember the Destination Tag!

Some of you who invested in Ripple might think that now is the time to cash in (not suggesting you do or don't, this is not financial advice etc. etc.).

If that is the case:

  • try it with a small amount of XRP first, see if everything work
  • remember to fill in the destination tag

Some programs / exchanges may show the two seperately. Others (like Shapeshift) add it after the URL.
For example yourRippleAdress?dt=12345678, where dt is the destination tag.

If you copy/paste it in your exchange or software, make sure all necessary fields are filled in, including the destination tag.
