Kind Ads: Changing the way we carry out online marketing

The advertising sector as a whole was estimated to be worth about $550 billion (USD) in 2017.
As advertisers seem to migrate from print and TV ads, the online advertising space can only grow. With the market currently on the increase, we can only imagine what comes next.

PINPOINTING THE PROBLEM
Just like any other industry, there are always areas that need to be improved upon, and are yearning for innovative solutions.

Key areas that need improvements are how ads are delivered to users, and also how stakeholders in the industry interact with one another.

Many publishers do not get what they deserve from third parties in the advertising chain. Either they are having ads that aren't relevant to their content, or there is a long waiting period before they can receive payments. This puts a strain on them, and takes them away from their primary focus, which is creating engaging content.

Users don't fare any better. They are bombarded on all fronts by irrelevant ads that they didn't subscribe to. Such irrelevant ads are on virtually all web pages visited, and they also find a way into users email boxes.

This results in a very bad user experience, and will lead to users avoiding websites belonging to some publishers.

Advertisers pay a lot of money to get heard. They do this, hoping to get some return on the investment they have made, which could be in the form of more visibility leading to more awareness about what they do, and hopefully, more patronage of their services.

When the wrong demographics are used in targeting users, ad campaigns aren't effective. This leads to frustration and also losses.

THE SOLUTION
The Kind Ads platform is a creation of the The LeadChain Foundation, and it was created to remove these discrepancies, thereby leveling the playing field and combating the dominance of huge corporations choking life out of the little companies.

The Kind Ads platform is a decentralised platform for advertisements that dishes out user friendly adverts through less intrusive channels, such as emails and push notifications.

The platform is based on the Ethereum blockchain, and this enables transactions to be carried out without the middle man. This reduces the communication line, brings about better results, and cuts on costs-seeing fees can be really high.

Everyone will have an opportunity to have their voices heard, and a rating system known as the Easy Ads Score will be in play, to ensure that the best rise to the top. In doing this, stakeholders in the industry would be able to take notice of really good companies that were more or less unknown, just because they didn't have deep pockets. As the trend continues, stakeholders in the industry will definitely take notice, and this will ensure that they revise their strategy to go with the times. This will lead to a change in how online marketing is handled, in general.

CLOSING STATEMENT

Obviously, the Kind Ads platform would be a tool for levelling the playing field, fostering engagement and rewarding the activities of everyone involved in the process. No one is left out and the security of transactions and user data is no longer an issue. Scaling issues for App providers are resolved, and they can focus on creating channels and other tools that would be of benefit to publishers and advertisers.

Revenue generate by the industry would steadily be on the rise, user satisfaction/safety would be prioritised, and the ecosystem would take care of its stakeholders, leading to a glorious future in the industry.
