There's an early scene in "It's a Wonderful Life," that stalwart of holiday season TV viewing, that provides one of the most insightful on-screen depictions of the core challenge of banking: maintaining trust.

It's where Jimmy Stewart's character, George Bailey, desperately trying to stave off a run on Bailey Building and Loan, tries to convince a horde of nervous customers not to withdraw their funds. Failing to win them over, he eventually reaches for his checkbook and, drawing on personal savings earmarked for his honeymoon, writes personal loans to each of them to keep his small-town lender afloat.

🗞 Bitcoin Bulls Must Push Price Past $6.8K to Win Control

Bitcoin (BTC) created a key bullish pattern last week, but only a move above $6,800 would put the bulls in a commanding position, according to technical charts.

Stepping back, the leading cryptocurrency clocked a four-week high of $6,810 on Coinbase last Monday before ending the week (Sunday's UTC close) at $6,415. Despite the pullback from the multi-week highs, BTC eked out 3.7 percent higher on the week.

🗞 Ticketmaster to Enhance Ticketing System with Blockchain in New Partnership

Cointelegraph reports on moves by Ticketmaster to incorporate blockchain technology into its toolkit to address ticketing fraud and ‘scalping’, with the acquisition of ‘blockchain-focused’ live events firm Upgraded.

Through Upgraded, Ticketmaster will digitise traditional tickets and record their encrypted barcodes onto a blockchain ledger.

The CEO and founder of Upgraded is excited that the deal will see Upgraded ‘promote blockchain technology to millions of fans’.

🗞 Online Fiat Wallet Neteller Launches Cryptocurrency Exchange Service

Digital fiat currency wallet provider Neteller has started allowing its users to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies including BTC, BCH, ETH, ETC, and LTC. The cryptocurrency service is already live in 10 countries and the company “plans to roll it out to more than 50 additional markets.”

Some of the methods for funding a Neteller account include Pay by Mobile, Epay, Paysafecard, local bank deposits, and bitcoin, according to its website. Funds can also be uploaded via a number of banks online such as Banco do Brasil, HSBC, Itau, and Nordea.

🗞 Europe’s Largest Port Partners with Samsung IT Subsidiary to Test Blockchain for Shipping

The largest port in Europe, the Port of Rotterdam, has partnered with major Dutch bank ABN AMRO and the IT subsidiary of Samsung to test blockchain for shipping, a press-release from Samsung reports Monday, Oct. 22.

According to Samsung SDS – the IT and tech division created by Korean tech giant Samsung – the trial will focus on shipping containers from an unnamed factory in Asia to the port of Rotterdam.

Since the bounce on the support line in green, the UP move is pausing and is doing a little pull back on the MMA50 around 0.83$. Nothing dramatic till now as this MMA is often tested and that if we don't break it, the current up trend is not invalidated. So we should see soon some new green candles in order to do the continuation.
