🗞 Bitcoin Above $7,000 as Positive Momentum Continues Following Yesterday's Market Upswing

Ongoing positive momentum now looks set to reverse the major valuation losses incurred last week, which could now prove to have been a temporary dip rather than a lasting downtrend.

Bitcoin (BTC) is trading around $7,209, up a little over 8 percent over the 24-hour period to press time. The leading cryptocurrency has today pushed further beyond yesterday’s peak trading price of $6,679, with the day’s upwards spike continuing at press time.

Bitcoin (BTC) scaled the crucial 50-day moving average (MA) on Monday for the first time in nearly two months, taking its price above $6,700.

🗞 Do Your Own Research, Advises CFTC In Cryptocurrency Warning

On July 16, 2018, the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) published a customer advisory about the need to exercise caution and conduct research before purchasing virtual coins or tokens. "Understand what rights are attached to the coin or token being sold, and what underlying factors could affect its value," the agency wrote. "Be especially wary of promises or guarantees of future value." In its advisory, the CFTC alluded to the "network effect," which many projects have claimed will result in an increase in the value (read: price) of their associated digital tokens.

Yesterday, I was saying you that :

We still have increases to do to be able to test it but never forget than altcoin are sometimes moving much more powerfully than the BTC.

And we are now testing it and it is almost broke :-)

We could now use it as a support to continue the UP. Most of the time, when we break a resistance line, we do a pull back on it and use it as support. This is very usual. We need now to see if the market will confirm or not this scenario.
