in #cryptocurrency6 years ago (edited)

Whilst 39 per cent of a sample of the world’s senior executives expect their organisation to invest >USD5m into blockchain tech over the next year, the same proportion also believes that blockchain is overhyped

Blockchain is still seen as a Long Term Technological Revolution but implementation has been slower than expected

What do you think?

Greetings,
@vlemon This is my opinion: We are all waiting for the bitcoin to make the change. While we continue selling and buying our groceries with local currency and paying the bills using a visa and master card ...
The real change will not happen when people in mass buy bitcoins,
We will make the real change, when we decide to start buying and selling tangible products using cryptocurrencies.

Hello @tqm,
Exactly, but to be honest Bitcoin is not very "useful" in Daily life (too expensive and not mainstream enough yet).
Nevertheless, I strongly believe that Bitcoin replaced Gold as a "Safe Asset" as we can see in Turkey where people are investing in Bitcoin to face the depreciating Turkish Lira.
Take care.
