Do people trust Ethereum more than Bitcoin now? Could that be the reason for this?
I personally don't trade with Bitcoin anymore and use Ethereum/Ripple mostly.
As one of the other commenters stated, BTC transaction speeds and costs are really turning people off it. With some many other great choices, like Ethereum, this is a natural progression for people who have at least some experience with crypots and are in-the-know.
