Best way of tracking your portfolio of cryptocurrencies

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

If you own several different cryptocurrencies you probably find it challenging to keep track of the total value and performance of their aggregated value.

Some wallets, such as Jaxx and Exodus, support a handful of the most popular crypto-currencies but not useful if you own steem, for example. Furthermore, if you simply want to track your investment without worrying about wallet security, it might be worth checking out one of the following services.

CryptoCompare.com

It's easy to setup. It supports a large array of fiat and crypto currencies. Displays various statistical performance data overtime and updates in real time (no need to refresh page).

CoinTracking.info

Similar to CryptoCompare but has more detailed info. Design is a little less slick and has no real time updating (you must refresh the page).

And the great thing is, both of them support EUR, GBP AND Steem so you can keep track of all your crypto gains in one place : )

I'm sure there are many more alternatives out there (for desktop and mobile) but these are the two I am trying out and enjoying.

I didn't know about cointracking, but cryptocompare is one of my favourite sites! I made a post about how it works, you and others who are interested in cryptocompare because of your post can found my tutorial here: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@skririm/keep-an-eye-on-your-crypto-s-profit-loss-free-to-use-portfolio ... Now I am looking to make one myself, where I can add Silver, Gold, and regular stocks! :-)

Hi @veganic,

We recently launched Cryptorai, a portfolio tracker with complete data privacy, on Google Play and iTunes. Cryptorai does not access or store user data. We are connected with 50+ exchanges and have

  • Exchange API and CSV imports,
  • Cloud back up and sync across unlimited devices,
  • Advanced analytics and charts,
  • Realized and unrealized gains,
  • Exchange transfers, Fiat deposits and withdrawals,
  • News and market data.
  • Price alerts
and many more features to make crypto investing easy.

Try it and let us know what you think.

Hi, thanks for the heads up. May I ask why the app needs access to Device ID & call information?

I'm curious about this app but I don't usually install apps who want access to more permissions than they actually need.

The fact that you can import all trades and BTC/ETH wallet transactions in a few clicks is amazing. Way better than manually entering into Cryptocompare or Blockfolio!

for people who really trade, there is also a spreadsheet called UADS on bitcointalk and cost less than cointracking, but no api connection:

I would prefer Cointracking any day. If only the UI was better there was no need to look out anywhere else :P
