Iran seeks to build a national cryptocurrency in 3 months to circumvent US sanctions which will be effective 6 Aug 18.
Venezuela will have a new national fiat currency in Aug 2018, named new bolivar soberano. It will be pegged to the value of Petro token, which in turn is pegged to the value of Venezuelan oil. The President has mandated banks and state-owned companies to mine and use the Petro token.
