Will Verge & DigiByte be added to HitBTC soon?

HitBTC held a poll these past few days via Twitter asking which cryptocurrency should be added next to their exchange. The choices were Verge, DigiByte, BitcoinPlus (what?) and Soarcoin (again, what?).

The communities were asked to vote and they spoke loud & clear in my opinion. The results were as follows:

Out of over 165000 votes 61% of them voted for Verge and 36% for DigiByte. The other two seem to be pretty unknown on Twitter as well so I'm not ashamed that they didn't ring a bell when I saw them on the list. Makes me wonder why these were picked though.

A thing that was great to see on Twitter was that both Verge and DigiByte communities had send messages to HitBTC asking them to add both currencies to their exchanges, giving each other their due technical respect.

Since I hold both of these currencies in my portfolio I will benefit either way. It's always good when a currency is added to an exchange. It would be best of course if HitBTC decides to add them both and perhaps they might surprise us but we'll see what happens. If they will only add one I do hope they'll pick the definitive winner, Verge. I think Verge has a lot of potential being the best privacy focused crypto out there.

These coming weeks will be very important for Verge either way because we're going to see a "Verge currency release marathon". So if you don't own any Verge, now might be a very good time to board this rocket. It will perhaps go to the mooooon! ;)
