There is no better cryptocurrency than Digibyte.

Digibyte is technically already on the moon. See? This is an actual photo of the moon, shot by NASA and as we can all see it looks like they actually imprinted their own logo on the moon. Thus claiming the moon as their property.

True story.

Or is it?

Digibyte is a crypto most of us love and hate at the same time. We all know they have good and perhaps even great tech but what do they really have as use cases currently? What are they really doing and focussing on?

What we've mainly seen from them is lots and lots of meme's because of a meme challenge. Ok, we got some nice LOL's out of that. Then came that infamous CITI challenge where we all thought it was the finals and they would win... DGB got pumped insanely. We were all ordering our Lambo's at that point...

Then the challenge was over and they tweeted they didn't win anything and that it wasn't even the finals which made everyone dump DGB massively. We all had to cancel our orders for our Lambo's with tears in our eyes.

During that time they also had this Minecraft fiasco going which didn't help Digibyte as a company at all. Later it became known that they dropped their Digibyte Gaming venture and our now focussing on other tech, mainly Digusign. Haven't heard a lot of Digibyte ever since...

Going back to their tech, they really do have good technology. I haven't factually checked everything below but as far as I can tell it's pretty accurate information:

But still... we are not massively backing Digibyte. DGB is mainly used as a pump and dump coin (and so many other's with it).

Today Digibyte tweeted the following:

This tweet says a lot. They are confident about their tech, they know it's technically and architecturally better than many others. So perhaps Digibyte is on the moon and they're waiting for us to join them. Buy those DGB's, hold them... wait for them to announce some great real life partnerships and use cases and then perhaps we can order those Lambo's again. The big questions are IF they will achieve something major and WHEN though... in the cryptospace we can simply never be sure...

Feel free to upvote, comment and resteem. And, as always... keep up the good work and may the Steem be with you!

That comparison between DGB and BTC is ridiculous in so many ways. And still in almost all of the technicalities mentioned Bitcoin comes out above if you actually know what the numbers mean.

Excellent. You're the first to comment specifically on what I've written. :)

Yes you are right. Most of what that picture says is rubbish. Apart from the confirmations/transactions, right?

But this shows that people do not actually read... they only see what they want to see and act upon it. But for Digibyte themselves to tweet and claim that they solved speed, scalability and decentralization issues already.... in direct comparison to BTC... that's a bold claim.

I think that it would be more appropriate to compare it to VISA, since they both are centralized and the store of value part isn't in any of them. And try beating VISA's 10 000 transactions per second.

I used to have like 300k digi and I thought one day I am going to make serious money with it when they reach 1$. I have dumped it all back when it was at 4-5c. I doubt I am coming back, Digibyte gaming was a great idea and I feel they went in a bad direction. Very good post as always!

Yeah... Digibyte is like a train that went of track and no one knows IF they can ever get back on track..

Who knows. I still hold about 15k of them so perhaps I'll be lucky. But I wouldn't recommend buying into them anymore...

Forget Digibyte, follow the Moon :))

hahahahahahahaha That was funny, at least to me!

Thank you. More smiles are needed in this world

Hehe at this point holding DGB is a lucky shot for me. but still better odds than at the roulette?

Good Article - I agree
I like DigiByte - I own DigiByte and at today's price its just no brainer I just put more into DGB
