PSA: Last call to install the mandatory PIVX v3.0.0 wallet update!
My fellow Steemians and my fellow Pivians... this is the last call to remind you all that if you’re running a v2.x.x PIVX wallet NOW is the time to update it to the latest v3.0.0 that can be found on PIVX.org.
It’s a mandatory update meaning that if you don’t update you will be left on an unsupported chain as PIVX will continue to operate on a new chain.
This will happen on the 14th! One of the biggest reasons behind this is because of the implementation of the ZeroCoin protocol which will allow PIVX to have zPIV. zPIV brings real privacy back by introducing ZeroCoin for the first time in a Proof Of Stake coin which will effectively make PIVX the most anonymous POS coin available on the market! This is a huge game changer!
zPIV will be set active on the 16th of this month. And remember, as of the 14th you will need to use the new wallet or else you’ll be excluded from the network which also means that you’ll be staking on the wrong chain. Don’t let this happen!

Good for you. I still can't get my wallet to work. I'm on the High Sierra operating system and there are some glitches. Annoying...now I can't stake until it gets taken care of.
Oh damn... now that you’ve mentioned it... I’ve read some people mentioning that there were some issues isolated to High Sierra. I should have told you this but I completely forgot! I haven’t updated my Mac yet, wanted to do it today but somehow I haven’t gotten to do it yet, perhaps this was in the back of the head which made me not update yet...

Hard to say as with all cryptos but knowing for a fact that only a few percent of the worlds population is in this game... the only way is up for cryptos with great tech and great backing by their community!

I bought PIVX recently. I want to download the V3.0.0 wallet. I am running Windows 10. I am having a lot of trouble running it. I'm not big on tech - which is one of the reasons tech experts have an advantage over mainstream in the cryptocurrency field. Is there a simple solution to my problem, like turning off something in Windows 10? I have tried googling this but it hasn't been that helpful.
You haven’t said what exactly goes wrong so I cannot tell... I think it’s best if you ask in the support channel on PIVX.slack.com
They have a lot of people over there which will help you the best they can. I’m sure you’ll get it fixed soon!
