Here's another Crypto-HODL recommendation from my crypto-mentor
Today we will look at STELLAR LUMENS XLM
Stan has some really pointed thoughts on this coin, and in other info I have found, Stellar will be the new home for the much anticipated KIN token rollout to it's intended platform, KIK Messenger! :D
- The long-awaited roadmap is going to be publicly announced.
- Network issues have been resolved, evidence by Binance lifting their withdrawal suspension.
- This article forecasting the price going potentially up to $100 by year-end is by no means a market indicator like the above may be considered, but it's something to keep in the back of your mind as the graph shows takeoff in late January. Late January just so happens to coincide with the roadmap release above, so the author may be on to something.
- It's caught the attention of the mainstream media.
TL;DR
The short version is that XLM, Stellar Lumens is projected to hit $100 USD by end of 2018, or Aug, 2019 at the latest.
But you know that predictions are like a$$holes, everybody's got one, and most of them STINK! At least Stan is citing outside sources, and it checks out with his experiences also. He's a BIG Backer of ETH, it is his main HODL coin, but he sees this Distributed Ledger system as a strong alternative to the BTC, SHA-256 system. Does anyone remember another time I referred to DISTRIBUTED LEDGERS in my Blog? :D IMF (yes, THAT IMF) is going to Distributed Ledger Systems for the new SDR, which will replace the WRC (world reserve currency) system. Oh My Goodness!!! Do you believe this? Could be a total game changer in Crypto! BTC Killers ABOUND!!! ;)

Sharing these insights will be a huge thing in the not so distant future. I am doling out these hot takes, use them as you see fit, DYODD and all that. What I am not so much into at this time is "selling signs", that will vary per individual. Today's Bear Market was an eye-opener for most of us, some have really "Been there, Done that" so it was no big deal. I do hope I reacted in that manner, I had everything but "dry powder" as we call it, no fiat ready to buy at the apparent "Bottom" :'-( Would have been SWEEET to have $500, $5,000 or MORE to drop into several coins that look to have a bright future! Who's Stan?
A friend of mine! He was in the UK for a time, before that, Canada. We "met" thru a wonderful Lady I know from silverdoctors.com precious metals blog. More about Stan if you read my Blog ;) He's batting 1.000 in baseball terms, as far as his recommendations to me. He sent me here to Steemit, best move EVER! Well, directing me to buy ETH @ $12 was even better, money wise... so far! I think STEEM will be even bigger than ETH. Here's a reason:

WHAT? lol I even had a TL_DR section for a summation...
The fundamentals indicate that this might be the answer for the older, slower blockchain junk. This distributed ledger thingy is like a hybrid, it will use encrypted transmissions "like blockchain" I presume, but shorter "strings" and the "coin" is not carried on the "strings"... The ledgers are on what they call "trusted servers" which will have to be updated on occasion, obviously. It's kind of a debit/credit system from what I understand, and more applicable to FIAT systems, but works well with cryptos too.
IMF (International Monetary Fund) is going to distributed ledgers, Likely THIS YEAR. It will be distributed, but NOT decentralized... VERY CENTRALIZED, I guarantee!

You realize in order for Stellar to hit $100 it's total worth would be more than the value of all the coins currently x3.
Stellar has too many coins to go up that much in 1 year unless Crypto just explodes in which case Stellar will hit $100 not because it's a solid choice, but because everything is going up.
