The very first Internet connection was created in 1982, and by the late 80's the first ISPs came into existence.

By the mid ninety's, the Internet really started to catch on with the public.

For entrepreneurs that were involved since the beginning of the Internet, it was certainly a wild ride.

There was the .com craze (just own the "right" domain and you'll be rich!), e-commerce, Adsense and blogging, affiliate marketing and much more.

Today, it's been just a little over 20 years since the Internet began to go mainstream, and while Internet is seemingly everywhere, we still aren't anywhere near close to tapping into it's full potential.

In terms of life changing technologies, many feel that the Internet rivals even the invention of the printing press (invented in 1440) in terms of it's importance and contribution to society.

Now, Cryptocurrencies, having developed largely in the shadows for the past eight or so years, are just about to hit their nineties "mainstream" moment.

While crypto's are largely an Internet "feature", they are so revolutionary and paradigm shifting that they have to be seen as a phenomenon of their own.

A third "printing press" type of paradigm shifting revolution, and this time in just twenty years!

The GREAT news is that if you reading this YOU are now in the right place at the right time.

If you missed out on the Internet craze and the .com's and affiliate marketing, hold onto your hats, because Cryptocurrency is about to make those revolutions look like small potatoes.

But we all know this and that is why we are on Steem, right? :)

The point is, the world is changing, and changing, and changing again.

With an ever increasing series of waves of revolution after revolution of how we fundamentally live our lives now starting to crash down upon us, one can only wonder what will reveal itself around the corners of time.

My guess?

Longevity.

The end of death.

The final frontier.

The next great revolution after crypto's will be the ability to live forever, brought to you by modern science.
