💲LUX coin - Crypto for the rich?💲

So apparently there's a new ICO soon to launch and it's targeting the richest people of the world.

They say that they will be using half of the funds raised to spread the word about LUX coin. They do seem serious about the marketing part at least.

But I'm not entirely sure how will this workout. Billionaires just won't care about this at all because they have a shit ton of money already. Why would they want to join this ? Managing cryptos is harder for the common person than FIAT currencies.

1,000 famous individuals selected by Luxico to have a right to claim one million LUX coin. The full list is coming soon.

They will be giving one million LUX coin to the richest and most famous people. Are you rich and famous ? Then congratulations, you will get one million LUX coins!

This looks very very fishy and I don't think this is a legit ICO. I mean their vision is just too big for now.

But if this would actually work out and billionaires did participate in this event, then cryptos could potentially skyrocket in terms of popularity and most likely price.

But it just feels too good to be true. I'm not saying they are 100% scam but I would be careful with this.

What are your thoughts about this ?

Looks like complete and utter bullshit. As you say, those who are already rich will have no reason to participate. Instead it is likely to wheel in those who have aspirations - any crypto that tries to have "celebrity endorsement" is an immediate red flag. I doubt the celebrities are anything but Z-list has beens (for the same reason) which means that they will bring little to the project. Further I would rather trust financial advice from someone who knows what they are talking about rather than some "famous" person. The website looks nice but it isn't anything a 12 year old couldn't put together for a little bit of cash.

Indeed. I'm not an expert on these things but even I can see that everything is way too fishy and way too much is promised there. They won't do even half of the things they promised.

Even if they do the concept itself doesn't make sense. If you are already rich why take a risk on a scheme like this?

Exactly, that's the first thing I thought about. Ain't no way rich people are going to go there.

I wouldn't call it that so harsly. The fundamentals and team are there. I actually think it does have potential to skyrocket once the market as a whole stabilizes...

I am not sure about this coin, it looks legit but who knows... . However, looking at current progress I think it is worth considering. They released a new wallet and they seem to be serious about their goals. Take a look at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2254046.0
