Here are the latest news in the crypto-currency scene.

Bitcoin (BTC)

Following a brief 3-day correction in prices on 25 - 27 May, where it reached an all-time high of $2,690 and retraced to a low of $1,820, BTC has rebounded strongly; moving up 35% from the previous low of $1,820 to a current price of $2,470.

This follows recent news that the 3 biggest exchanges (OKCoin, Huobi, BTCC) are ending their self-imposed moratorium on withdrawals. Bitcoin has now recorded four consecutive up days since 31 May.

Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum is currently on the verge of making another new all-time high, briefly touching about $234 on Bitfinex.

Ethereum is rapidly establishing itself as the dominant platform for smart-contracts and spawning its own ecosystem of dapps and other eth-based platform services. As more and more developers flock to ETH, it will spawn a virtuous cycle, similar to how Apple had become the most established platform for app developers in its early iPhone years.

Monero (XMR)

XMR has been pretty quiet in recent days, given the lack of any growth catalysts.
Most of its developers have been hard at work in strengthening the technical fundamentals.
Monero has been registering slow and steady growth, in contrast to other coins that are currently in the limelight.
