Hi From what I have read the main value of ETC is that in the ideological stand point they are opposed to Hard Forks because to them the Block chain should be immutable even if the Fork was to return a large amount of hacked Ether to it's rightful owners . They believe Forks that divide and devalue the currency. They have a few major backers but nowhere near the backers of ETH. So they still have fan's to those that are purist with the blockchain paradigm of immutability.
However, for me ETH has more value as the chance for another hard for in ETH is very low and was only done before to solve a hacking problem. Also the main founders are in ETH and they also have the Etherium alliance (200+ companies that include Microsoft and other fortune 500 companies).
Hi they do have a few projects like "Inpay". Perhaps the original founders in ETH are just better in innovating, managing, and marketing than those that separated to ETC.
For me its just the same for Bitcoin Gold and now Bitcoin Diamond. The brand carries it does not really matter if they innovate it or not. However, I don't think they will be able to use that forever.
I think incompetent and newbie wall street brokers wanted to invest in ethereum, and they invested in classic one :) that’s why its price rises.
Ha ha, well that makes sense.

That's my 2 satoshis...
:p
Why don't the peeps who took over Ethereum Classic actually use the platform though, I mean, what's the hold up?

That's kind of my point, and why I was asking why Ethereum Classic has any value at all, especially enough to justify it in the top 10?

Nor do I, especially once more and more Ethereum clones are born.
