To understand cryptocurrencies at a political, social, economical and philosophical level, you must do the following
Know the history of money
Understand the dangers of central banking
Understand how commercial banks create money out of thin air by granting loans through fractional reserve ratio
Appreciate the disadvantages of holding a government backed fiat currency
Understand quantitative easing and tightening
Realise why central banks publicly hate gold
Understand how disruption in the financial system is an opportunity for the middle class and below
You must understand that it's more about emancipation than enrichment. It’s more about empowerment than buy low sell high.
Cryptocurrency is a revolution. A revolution of the way we perceive value, a revolution of the way we perceive money. Money will never be the same again. Money is hacked.
