in #cryptocurrency5 years ago

After the water crisis in South Africa this year, a blockchain company HashCash has come up to fix this problem by monitoring the regulation of water in the Republic of South Africa. The company will provide its services for the implementation of a high-tech infrastructure to monitor the usage of water.

It is reported that the legislative Capital of South Africa, Cape Town, one of the biggest tourist destinations in Africa suffered a severe drought this year which affected the City dwellers. Water crisis has been and is still a big problem affecting major Cities allover the world.

The government and municipalities in South Africa are now soliciting the expertise of blockchain companies to provide a solution that will sustain their water reserves.

South Africa's Public taps are to be switched off by the government as one of the measures to bring wastage of water under control.

Blockchain startup HashCash will work with regulators to record the water footprint on a decentralized platform for reference and verification which will be accessed by all people. The platform will be able to track water usage by households, industrial units and agricultural farms.

This has come at a time when auditing a daily water consumption in highly populated Cities requires unlimited computer base storage.

That's to go South Africa!

Till then,
