Trading Day Two

Today I decided not to participate in the markets.

Last night, before I wrote the final blog post for the day, I had some non-crypto commitments that went until about Midnight. I spent about an hour writing the blog post and another hour meditating before bed. I only ended up sleeping for about 4 hours, and although I felt great in the morning, by the time I was done my work real life commitments I was exausted.

I felt it would be detrimental to my trading to participate with a foggy and tired mind. I closed my positions on some of the trades I made from day one that started to swing against my favour.

All of the trades were in profit or break even. Here's the breakdown:

Profit is profit! Less volume and it's going sideways. My bitcoin is better off in a different trade.

Broke even. I would had profited slightly if I had waited an extra hour, but I didn't want to risk it with my foggy mind at play. The idea here is to catch the big panics, like the one in this snapshot. Easy gains.

Not enough volatility or percentage of spreads. Got out with a little baby profit.

This one is the reason my balance went down. Two trades made at what appeared to be good buy positions. Orders were placed ready for the bounce, but alas, no bounce was had. Going to wait a bit on this one as I prefer to not sell at a loss. Just going to ride this one and see where it takes me. This is why I only buy small orders, until I really figure out what i'm doing. If i'm going to have to take losses i'd rather learn with baby losses.

Well that's it for tonight. I'm pleased with this project. I can see this being very benificial having all these trades stored with comments fresh off the trade. Now..
