Yes, bittrex is a trading platform. It started trading with bitcoin to altcoins before and then adopted to trade with another cryptocurrency to cryptocurrency. Bitrrex also offers digital wallets to store your cryptocurrencies and its trading fees are very cheap compared to another trading platform. Bittrex now has become one of the biggest crypto exchange platform in terms of trade volume. But, it is not the only platform that I am using. I do trade cryptos in some platform for reasons.
These are my reasons:
- Not all cryptocurrencies are available in Bittrex
- Some crypto coins are cheaper to trade in other platform
- Hard to deposit using fiats

Bittrex now remains as one of the few crypto exchange aside from Bithumb abd UPbit that users can utilize purchase of tokens using fiat currency. The CEO at Bittrex assures that every single listed digital asset listed goes through a rigorous review process.

Bittrex is working with the US banks in processing deposits and withdrawals.
Here are the available crypto to fiat (USD) trades.
- USD-USDT = USD to Tether
- USD-BTC = USD to Bitcoin
- USD-TUSD= USD to TrueUSD
- USD-ETH = USD to Ethereum
USD-ETH exchange was just recently added today (6/21/2018)
Because of this Bittrex expansion, it has now 4 available trading markets.
