UAE Central Bank warns against using 'Digital Currency'

Today's news in the Middle East includes a warning from the UAE Central Bank not to use Digital Currency and referring specifically to Bitcoin.

Any thoughts on the impact of this are welcome. It is pretty basic and good advice, concerned about the lack of regulation and volatility in the trading activities. No mention of blockchain technology though, which is likely to be adopted by the UAE exchange with Ripple.
