Cryptos today: a simple adjustment or is there more in it?

The cryptocurrency market in the last few days has been like a rollercoaster - a few days of steady rise followed by sudden unexpected massive downturns affecting all major currencies.

I hear that the market is just adjusting, just keep calm and hodl, I see others panic-sell, creating a downward spiral in a classic scenario of jumping off the boat before it sinks.

Times like this make me question the solidity of the markets. Could it be that a the exponential growth we have witnessed in the last months (mainly from mid-November on) is reaching its zenith, and a decline is near and unavoidable? Are big investors finally and inexorably leaving the table, stomach full and aware that there is little left?

I am wondering too, should i call the waiter and ask for a doggy bag?
