Bitcoin To Be Recognized By India As An Official Currency?steemCreated with Sketch.

According to David Seaman whose source is the Bitcoin Foundation- India is on the verge of recognizing BTC as an official currency.

I would imagine that would have a HUGE impact on BTC prices and force them upwards.

Your thoughts? Updates? Will the BTC tide rising raise ALL cryptos significantly including Steem?

I bought Bitcoin for the first time after watching one of David's videos!

Two reasons only:

  • To control it
  • To tax it
India is the front runner of the Cashless Society, which reigns in total control and, in my view, a technocratic tyranny that has never been seen before.

India is a globalist technocratic test ground...

Crypto Currency counters this development. Let not any government take control of grassroots value creation.

In the US, Morgan Stanley is calling for regulation already. Here is a short article from yesterday about it:

I tend to agree with you but will 'legitimizing' it benefit those already in early or will the government's greedy reach do more harm than good? Unfortunately I think I know teh answer- they'll fuck it up just like everything else they touch- LOL

Agree... So, we got to fight that and keep it from those who do harm.

good, when countries start to recognize crypto currency it helps the market grow

Congrats India!

It won't help every alt coin, but great for the overall good of alt and bitcoins
