Venezuela Protests: Could Cryptocurrency be the answer?

Venezuela has erupted with protests after their currency reaches record high inflation and record food shortages. Once considered South America's richest nation, now on the verge of collapse as people demand economic reform.

Cryptocurrency is now being heavily exchanged throughout Japan after the wake of another currency devaluation. The unpredictable economic environment and fluctuating currency has resulted in over 250,000 projected businesses to accept Bitcoin later this year. Could this also work for Venezuela?
