THE MOVEMENT APP
This app will give interested individuals the ability to monetize their personal sports activities, travel and everyday life; this will definitely motivate users to leave an active life style.
By using blockchain technology and smart contracts to establish an economic dimension to the platform, this app will motivate users to work out and also use walking as a main mode of transportation. The movement app will transfer users daily moves into tokens, this means they will get profit for any time they spend jogging, running or for just walking to work/classes and back home, it also gives participants the ability to control health conditions and improve it as well.
The Movement Platform has put in place unique competitions that would improve the experience and retention of users and this is fundamental for the growth of the platform. These competitions include:
• Tournament: This would be a league or leader system where there would be rewards and prices for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
• 1 vs. 1 bet: This would give participants the ability to challenge each other.
• Daily Challenges: Using the user’s previous physical activity history, a reasonable distance (undisclosed until user accepts challenge) would be given to them to run as a daily challenge.
Presently some other platforms like Sweatcoin and Runister platforms launched 2015 and 2016 respectively are enjoying large user base on the market right now. THE MOVEMENT COIN (RUN COIN)

This functionality allows runners to cooperate themselves with the MOVE Token holder (investors).

Using the readings from the accelerometer, a pedometer in software is implemented. The pedometer will help extract the magnitude of the acceleration vector from the accelerometer.
More sensors like gyroscope, magnetometer are combined using sensor fusion to get different signatures and get a more unique signature of the walking pattern, this helps this approach from being deceived by simulating the acceleration pattern, which can be done by attaching the accelerometer to any moving object, animal or a mechanism that would give periodic peaks that would be detected as steps.
