41% of all Bitcoin ATMs Now Support Litecoin
The Bitcoin ATMs (BTMs) industry has continued growing at a healthy pace in the first month of 2018: 127 new BTMs were launched during the course of the month, bringing the total # of active BTMs in the world to 2152.
Interestingly, the amount of BTMs that support Litecoin transactions has risen in January to 898, which amounts to 41.7% of all BTMs! For comparison, at the end of December, 2017, that figure stood at 33.5%.

I actually was not aware that any supported Litecoin. Very interesting.
I think most people frown on these ATMs because of the large fees, but maybe in the future fees will be reduced, and I’m sure the fees are much less for Litecoin transactions.
I will look out for these, would like to try one out just to say I did.

Yep, fees are high on these BTMs - usually between 5% to 9% - but you don't have the hassle of opening exchange accounts and submitting ID documents. It's very convenient, but also pricey.
There is an ATM near me that allows you to withdraw up to $10K USD worth of BTC in cash, for only 1.5%
People use Ltc, Eth to transfer between exchanges , this news will boost Ltc .

Seeing the BTMs around will really help people to have it implanted in their psyche. It is advertising for the entire crypto space.
Right now, it is a mysterious, foreign concept to people. Yet when they see people pulling money out the same way they do an ATM, suddenly cryptocurrency becomes currency (money) and it hits closer to home.

Wow. I never knew that. LTC is one cryptocurrency that I won't mind if the price stays where it is right now. As long as I can see that there is a working technology, the developers and the team are working hard, and there is a community behind it, I'm always hopeful that LTC will soon achieve what it truly deserves.

Litecoin market cap is very low compared to some of the other newer coins. I think litecoin will catch up massively this year and become top 5 again
