Well said. It's about perspective. It's about comfort level of risk. Look at those who bought when it was at $1,100 and saw it drop to $180. Can you say you lost any money? Not so if you were off on an island totally disconnected, came back years later to see it at $3,000... you'd say, "Holy #@$#$, I made a lot of money!". All the while as the price was dropping years before, people yelling the sky is falling. Those who held and kept buying on the way down, those are the true investors.
It's hard to resist but yeah, not looking at the charts for now might be a good idea since there's really no way to predict anything accurately for now if it is indeed a panic dump caused by China. There could be news any time from now that could turn everything around as fast as it sent everything tumbling down. Can't we be like farmers who sow seeds and wait for them to grow while not turning the soil checking the seeds every other minute? ;)
