No, if you mine a certain amount of hashing power with eobot, you can trade it in for mining hardware. I have been using eobot for a long time. I bought and mined about 1550 GHS 2.0, and traded it in for the antminer FROM EOBOT!

I also have 4730 GHS 3.0, just enough to trade in for the antminer S7.

13000 GHS 4.0 will get you an antminer s9 from eobot.
