Big things are coming for cryptocurrency Bitcoin Cash (BCH) soon.

1. GDAX to allow BCH/BTC trading

On Wednesday, January 17th, GDAX will open orders for trading the BCH-BTC currency pair, allowing customers to directly trade Bitcoin Cash against Bitcoin (BTC). From the GDAX Status update page:

2. BitPay to support BCH for payments to merchants

This is the update I'm the most eager about. Online payment processor BitPay will allow merchants to accept Bitcoin Cash as payment. The change is expected to occur some time early this year. Here is a preview of the payment screen that will be shown, from the BitPay Blog:
