Upcoming DApps on ICON Platform...Can these ICOs prove to be the hottest of 2018?
ICON is a decentralized network of blockchain communities. Icon's technology is currently being applied across multiple sectors ranging from universities, hospitals, banking etc. The technology is focused for connecting different blockchains(public as well as private) which makes it highly scalable.
The community has recently launched naming service on ICON called 'ICONick' where a user can replace long and complicated default wallet address with an unique nickname. Interestingly, user can register 1 ICONick per wallet for 1 year!
The "ICON Annual Summit: The Genesis" was held before few weeks at Seoul, SK. At this summit, many interesting projects(DApps) were announced.
So , here is the list:
The idea behind Bluewhale is for building decentralised ecosystem for self-employed with fair rewards and benefits to working in sharing economy. The team seems to be really competent with former VP of Samsung on the board. ICO is set to begin soon!

A DApp that helps your friends to give credibility to your social profile via an anonymous vote. The major focus is to create trust developing application.
- SILKROAD
A platform that supports transparent history management for supply chains which is primarily focused for semiconductors. They have already partnered with Taiwan listed SCM company CoAsia Microelectronics.
It is a Security Intelligence Platform for Blockchain which provides secure wallet with multiple layers of security along with reporting features, preventing attacks etc. It a decentralized chain analysis. This project has high potential in terms of growth.
- AD4th
A decentralized advertising platform with real-time P2P reward system. It is already working with biggest companies in Korea such as Sktelecom, Blizzard etc.
- NUCLEUS VISION
It is IoT based contactless identification system. It was one of the most hyped ICOs with more than 90k telegram subscribers. The token sale had hit the hard cap in pre-sale within just few minutes of launching.
Can ICON as a platform hit it big? Can it be the next Ethereum?
