@xervantes, scams are a real concern, but as you have mentioned proving that someone is operating a scam is equally important.
I have seen a lot of people facing trial in the courts of media, but have never had a chance to defend themselves. We need to protect the weak and those who are being accused.

Too often I see blogs or comments screaming SCAM without any merit to it. It's just a way to get attention but it hurts the ICO/Project. There is a lot of "fake" news out there. Steemit is becoming an important source for cryptocurrency info. If we want to grow we need high quality well researched info. If something is off than report about that but don't go yelling around SCAM just to get a few upvotes, IMHO.
And yes, scams are a big problem and we need solutions, but I believe that the bad ICOs will be reigned in, not sure how but time will tell.
