My Personal TOP 10 Crypto Holdings

Back from a break

I just got back from some travel and a Steemit break after writing my 7 Days to a Better Steemit Blog series. I haven't thought about crypto assets at all recently and thought I'd review my holdings. I thought it would be fun to share the TOP 10 coins I own (in terms of how much $ I have invested in them.)

Why should you care about my list?

I discovered Bitcoin in 2012 during a live Internet chat with Tom Woods about Libertarians in politics. I went in to talk about Gold & Silver and discovered most people wanted to talk about something called Bitcoin. To sum this up quickly, I'm no one special in the crypto world - however - I do have 6 years of experience.

The TOP 10!

Here are the TOP 10 coins I own: 10 = least invested, 1 = most invested. I like the idea of sharing lists like this with each other, however, it's important to say that just because I own something, doesn't mean that I think it's a good time to buy - or - that I'm recommending anyone take any action.

10. Verge (XVG)
I purchased this before this recent news. At the time it was much cheaper and I like privacy assets. 

9. Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
I want to own at least one main Bitcoin fork and this is the one I chose. 

8. Gifto (GTO)
I read a pretty convincing article about the future of gifts being digital. It was so convincing that I wanted to own an asset that plans to facilitate this idea. 

7. Bread (BRD)
A really good crypto wallet. I want to own what I use!

6. 0x (ZRX)
I like the idea of decentralized exchanges and want to own something that facilitates that.

5. Cardano (ADA)
I want to have at least one good position in a possible Ethereum competitor. 

4. Dignity (DIG)
A coin to be backed by Gold.

3. Stellar (XLM)
A crypto platform used for payments.

2. Ethereum (ETH)
I want to have a high % of a major player that I believe in.

1. Bitcoin (BTC)
The OG. So far, many altcoins seem to rise & fall based on the price of BTC (with exceptions,) and I want to have the highest % of ownership in what I believe is going to persist.
