With the recent surge of interest in the cryptocurrency space, hardware wallets are selling out like hot cakes. Actually, you can’t buy any hardware wallet easily or quickly at the moment. They’re in such high demand, they’re fetching some big bucks right now over on eBay. Also, with the UASF (user-activated soft fork) imminent, scheduled to be implemented August 1st, I wanted to give a brief rundown of your current hardware wallet options, if they support the UASF, and just when you might receive your wallet if you were to pick one up today.

• Keepkey – Unofficially, yes. Bgok works for Keepkey, however it has yet to be announced on their website or social media.
• Ledger – Officially, yes

• Trezor: In stock, however you must pay in Bitcoin
• Keepkey: Out of stock, but scheduled to be back in stock sometime in July
• Ledger Nano S: Pre-order, shipping date starting July 27th
• Ledger Blue: Pre-order, shipping date starting July 31st

If you’re in desperate need of a hardware wallet, eBay and Amazon are your only options right now, but you’ll need to pay a hefty premium. If you’re interested in a Ledger, I’d pre-order it as soon as possible, because the shipping delays are only going to increase with time.
