Cryptocentric Mobile Gaming Platform MOBILEGO May be worthwhile to invest in--2 more days and change!
Hey everybody (disclaimer-- I'm a totally noob to this),
I thought I'd post about a gaming platform called MobileGo I just invested in using the cryptocurrency Gamecredits (GAME) , which I had traded for on Poloniex with Bitcoin (to get a better investment deal).
It seems like a really good idea to me. Essentially, game developers will get a much better deal for the games they create as they won't have to go through platforms such as Itunes, which reap large percentage of the profits. Here with MobileGO the platform will get 10% of the profits rather than the 30% Apple receives. Currently, according to information from the MobileGO website, Apple and GooglePlay control 98% of mobile gaming, and this type of monopolization/oligopolization (apparently not a word) of the market can be restricting to gamers and producers alike. It would be great to have such a market but why do they need to create their own currency for it? Couldn't such an app/marketplace work with an already existing currency like eth?
