There are 1981 cryptocurrency is currently available in the market. But as a user and investor it is important to know the parameters that makes a cryptocurrency good or bad. I will give you some idea about those parameters here.
The first things you should know about scalability. A bad crypto always suffer scalability issue. That means it can not process a million or billion transaction at a time.
Absence of decentralization, that means their voting power is distributed within a few voters.
High amount of energy usages. Though bitcoin is in the top of crypto list, it usages a huge amount of electricity.
A good crypto should not take more than 10 second for a transaction.
Fees should not be too high for a transaction.
