It's All A Big Gamble After All...

Let's be honest, no one can predict the future and therefore our whole life is basically a big gamble after all, especially our investment decisions.

One should never forget though that you might just be holding the as in your hands. Let's take cryptocurrency, they could just be the huge thing in a few years, we just don't know for sure.

That being said I'm going to hodl, especially as it wouldn't make any sense to sell the lows. Sure it could go down further and ve a good decision but everything else could be the case as well.

Are You Hodling Or Sodling?

When price are these low you don't risk selling because the most probable way is up. And this can happen anytime now.

I believe you should open an account on an exchange where you can short BTC. No need to watch it lose value, you can follow that trend and short it.

I always think day trading is the best, so you dont be much surprised. But to hold and wait for the bounty is also a good way. You need to be happy, buy and wait for the big surprise one day :)

Right decision ... dont sell at the low price but when the whole world is saying that sell now and buy back double as it is going to go more down ... what are your thoughts going to be?

That's a lie. I can and have predicted the future on several occasions. I predict with almost 100% certainty that everytime I eat Mexican food, the next morning I will have a bad case of the shits

Hahahahah for a second I thought you were gonna write about how good of a trader you are and sell us some program LOL

haha my name isn't Haejin

@jasonshick that means that you can only preditc your stomach future :D

I've had a long relationship with my stomach, I've learned a lot

Good to know that you know your body well.

Well I am besides hodling also trying to bring down my average book price!
I did buy a coin yesterday for the first time with the idea to sell it back again when it makes 30% profit!
I still have some dry powder and am waiting for some sings of recovery. During the bear market into the beginning of the year, I did shoot my dry powder too soon. Now I do understand that when it goes up, it still would be a bargain!
There is no use is trying to buy the deepest every time again! But most of the times this dip will be followed by a deeper dip.
I do have some coins in my portfolio which I am willing to sell with a loss, but not with the losses they are writing at the moment.

So, I still have faith in cryptos. Not all will survive and I just have to hope that I did made the correct choices!

Cheers,
Peter

I'm still HODLing I got in still pretty early around $1000 BTC and took some profits on the way up. When I first got into cryptocurrencies I had it in my mind that its an all or nothing type of technology, that it is either going to fall through the cracks and not go anywhere or be the a huge part of the future. When BTC is on a downtrend or bearish cross on MACD I sell out of a lot of altcoins back into BTC sometimes hedge into tether but not often. It's still really a big gamble but luckily my timing was early enough that I got a lot of room to go until the losses really pile on. Good post I'd like to know how others are looking at this downtrend if its going to 6k / 5k or settles and accumulates like we saw last time through early April. Happy trading! :)

Hodling until 2020 at the least. I may sell if I felt a huge change coming but the blowback from our systems of powere tells me crypto is the future.

I don't have much to hodl yet. Lol.
But I believe in the long term. And with cryptos, we should have that same approach
