Whoever is watching the stock market every single day might have trouble to keep cool during hard times. Whenever something bad happens, the world seems to go down right away. It´s time to get some distance from all the events of the day...

Might it be some war, a global disease, housing or debt crisis - In the short term there´s always something! But despite all that the world economy kept growing almost every single year. Just have a look on the Chart below, which shows the Worlds GDP in USD since 1960. As you can see, it´s going upwards continuously!

But what´s the reason for this continuous growth? It´s Progress! Thanks to better machines and new production methods we are able to get more done in the same time and therefore increase the economic output - increase the value of shares.

In our economy new and innovative ideas are always getting rewarded. Through all history discoveries, innovations and inventions have been the core of progress and growth. The first tools, the wheel, the phone, the car, the internet and probably one of the latest the blockchain and it´s cryptocurrencies.

For sure there may be something happening that will cause a short downtrend or a company that will have to close down but in the longrun, the worlds economy will keep growing and growing and growing...!

In my opinion Investments are still paying in the long run and it´s for sure less stressful for you whenever you don´t have to watch the market every day. As Cryptocurrencies are still to be considered at their very beginning this will eventually as well be the case for this new market.
