Bitcoin Down / Altcoins Up - The "Flippening", Is It Happening Right Now?
It´s been some time since the Altcoins actually outperformed Bitcoin significantly but it seems like it´s actually happening again these days. While Bitcoin is moving down a little we can see many alts soaring in value of sometimes 100%, 200% or even ways more than that 😍
Some coins like e.g. ADA were even trading for only a few cents a week ago and are now worth much more while being ranked in the top in regards to the market cap. Whether that´s a short term fomo or a sustainable growth, we´ll see... It´s definitely an amazing ride for sure!
With all those Crypto rockets and a total market cap of more than $600 Billion USD we see more and more warnings about the Crypto Bubble popping up on Twitter. In some extend they might be right and the market will correct a little in the next weeks but IMO that´s definitely not the end as Cryptos are the future, not a Bubble!
But What´s Your Opinion on The Current Soaring Alt Prices?

I switched to Ether today, more and more each day I keep asking what is the actual point of bitcoin, it does not do anything.
It's the biggest project out there and got a huge responsibility to stay solid. They can't simply push changes without proper tests etc.
IMO if Bitcoin goes down, everything else will as well...
Sorry maybe I have too much time to work these things out in my mind. I know bitcoin is great, but.....

Cryptos aren't the future, it's the technology behind it, the blockchain. Only the altcoins where there is effectively a useful product behind it, will eventually survive this jungle.
I'm not too sure about that. I think a few big projects might get actual assets for speculations on the wall street.
Nowdays, after ups and downs, the history, circumstancies, Bitcoin is going through a specific leriod of its existence. Today, it is supraevaluated, slows down transactiin it is becomi g '' unsure'' and is not very likely to become adopted by mass population.
Bitcoin is still not ready for the big mass adoption IMO but don't worry there are some great things on the way to speed it all up :)
We should be focusing on something we already have growing

Bitcoin is not the only possibility for us, there are other options but Bitcoin is not for throwing away
I ask myself almost every morning how long this can last.... I agree with you crypto is the future. The corrections will come I just hope they are mild so not to scare off too many people.
The longer it'll go up the harder the fall will be.
Most so-called crypto 'investors' don't even know what they are buying. It’s just herd behavior. And I think this herd behavior will cause eventually a panic when the bubble pops. Like the last bubble in 2013, most altcoins lost more than 95% their value. It will probably happen again, but hopefully not too soon ;)
There is a certain risk that this will happen and in case it does there will be no winners out there anymore. It´ll be a massaker...
I've been chipping away at my Bitcoin to pick up these altcoin projects going into the new year. Verge and Cardano have been nice pick ups in the last week. Hoping for a bright 2018.

We are in the 3rd inning folks buy and spread out your money on these coins/tokens and watch how much you make. Traders need no advice.

Well there are a lot of trust issues with stuff like altcoins. Bitcoin is something I can trust. What if dogecoin troll happens once again

There's no 100% secure place in cryptos but there are for sure some good alts out there ;)
