      Tether, using $'s which is real currency to back crypto currency. This comment cracked me down! Haha! Still laughing.

      Being invested in Tether at a time when they print extra holds absolutely no inflation risk to your investment. Inflation on your Tether due to printing of Tether is impossible if it is linked to the US$ or whatever fiat you are in. Only inflation on the fiat linked to your Tether has an effect. I agree that having your money in there is very risky and I would not consider it for a second but risks are:

      • Stopping service and you not being able to withdraw; or
      • A run on the bank (run on Tether in this example).
