Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro announces the launch of a national cryptocurrency backed by natural commodities (oil).
The currency is a workaround for sanctions placed on the country by the international community and the U.S
The Bolivar, Venezuelas current currency has fallen 57% against the dollar this month alone.
Canada, Russia and India are a few other nation states considering digital currencies.

Implied here the crypto currency will be more valuable in the future, as nations who sanctioned by US saw this as a way out financial restriction. Imagine more countries will join this camp!
