Cryptocurrency staking analysis 31.03.2018 - StakeUnited

Analysis for the fourth week coming up! Make sure you follow, so you don't miss any of the sequels. This week, some coins from the previous analysis went through some changes, so there's plenty to show today. For the ones joining for the first time, what I'm going to try to do is provide my weekly analyses of coins which I have currently staking with StakeUnited. I am keeping track and will keep track of the staking gains on a daily basis. Let’s dig right into the analysis!

On 31.03.2018, my portfolio comprised the same coins compared to the previous analysis (here). The coins included in the portfolio are: AERM (Aerium), ARION (Arion coin), BBK (BitBlocks), CROP (CropCoin), DEV (Deviant Coin), DV7 (DV7 coin), HIGHT (High Coin), HOLD (Interstellar Holdings), IC (Ignition Coin), MONK (Monkey Project), OPC (OP Coin), PIVX, SHARD (Shard), SPD (Stipend), XGOX and XP (Experience points).

AERM (Aerium)

As you can see, AERM starts staking almost immediately after your stake is included in the wallet. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was close to 0,03% and the same for the average daily stake profit. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

During this period, the compounded growth was 0,18%. Total compounded growth from the start of staking is 0,39%.

ARION (Arion coin)

As you can see, ARION starts staking almost immediately after your stake is included in the wallet. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 0,12%, while the average daily stake profit was 0,09%. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

During this period, the compounded growth was 0,65%. Total compounded growth from the start of staking is 1,31%. In case of ARION, I have been told that putting your coins in a Masternode gives better returns, so I tried that out meanwhile. It turns out that putting your coins in a MN will give you much better returns compared to staking. I’ve received an average daily return of 0,3% from a MN. That’s 3+ times more compared to staking. BBK (BitBlocks)

As you can see, BBK takes approximately 3 days to start staking. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 1,97%, while the average daily stake profit was 0,71%. CROP (Crop Coin)

As you can see, CROP starts staking almost immediately after your stake is included in the wallet. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 4,71%, while the average daily stake profit was 2,91%. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

During this period, the compounded growth was 27,68%. Total compounded growth from the start of staking is 52,24%.

DEV (Deviant Coin)

As you can see, it took me almost 2 days to receive first stakes for DEV. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 1,30%, while the average daily stake profit was 0,96%. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

During this period, the compounded growth was 7,90%. Total compounded growth from the start of staking is 22,22%. There is a certain fall in the staking performance for DEV. I will have a look into this and try to find a reason. I will report the results in the next analysis.

DV7 (DV7 Coin)

As you can see, DV7 starts staking almost immediately after your stake is included in the wallet. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 18,18%, while the average daily stake profit was 8,15%. The 10.000% ROI phase is over, we’re currently in the 500% ROI. During this period, the compounded growth was 573,27%. Total compounded growth from the start of staking is 1.290,30%. I'll keep staking with StakeUnited and they'll most probably do the swap for us.

HIGHT (High Coin)

IC (Ignition Coin)

As you can see, IC starts staking almost three days after your stake is included in the wallet. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 0,89%, while the average daily stake profit was 0,55%. Nice for a coin with a REALLY LIMITED SUPPLY (5 mil.), this is wonderful. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

As you can see, MONK also starts staking almost immediately after your stake is included in the wallet during daily wallet maintenance. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 1,50%, while the average daily stake profit was 1,28%. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

Last week there was a change in MONK staking rewards system after the maximum we hit. We're still getting smaller stakes more often during the day. During this period, the compounded growth was 11,84%. Total compounded growth from the start of staking is 39,32%.

OPC (OP Coin)

As you can see, OPC also starts staking almost immediately after your stake is included in the wallet during daily wallet maintenance. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 6,79%, while the average daily stake profit was 4,32%. Up to now, this coin provides very stable and almost predictable staking returns. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

You can notice the increase in daily stakes after 26.03.2018. That’s right around where we entered the 1.500% ROI phase. During this period, the compounded growth was 62,53%. Total compounded growth from the start of staking is 144,24%.

PIVX (PIVX)

PIVX is a slightly different beast in terms of staking. In this case it takes some time for the coins to mature. But don't be worried, they will mature. In my case, it took 6 days to get the first stake. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 0,03%, while the average daily stake profit was 0,02%. This one is known to skip staking for a day or two. But, that's PIVX and I'm still not giving up on holding on tight. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

SHARD (Shard)

As you can see, XGOX also starts staking almost immediately after your stake is included in the wallet during daily wallet maintenance. XP (Experience Points)

As you can see, XP took a while before giving a first stake, I was waiting for 4 days. Maximum daily stake profit in the period from 25.03.2018-31.03.2018 was 0,14%, while the average daily stake profit was 0,10%. Detailed results are presented on the chart below.

During this period, the compounded growth was 0,67%. Total compounded growth from the start of staking is 1,44%.

RANKING

The cryptocurrencies in my portfolio which have already started staking are included in the following table. Top performers are ranked according to average daily staking profit. Compounded stake gains are also shown. In this analysis I have also included an indication on the price change – a relative change in the moment of writing this analysis compared to the moment when I acquired the cryptocurrency (thanks for the feedback my little :D).

So, as you can see, the returns I'm receiving on some of these cryptocurrencies are incredible, however, depending on the coin characteristics, they also might be more susceptible to volatile changes. Of course, this drop in value is caused by the current market conditions, so let's see how their prices react when the market wakes up a bit. Despite everything, there are a few coins which have proven to be resilient - IC (Ignition Coin) with a price drop of only 4,78% since I bought it, PIVX with a price drop of 6,54% since I bought it and ARION (Arion coin) with a drop of 8,18% since I bought it (this one was recently listed). So this already might give you and indication on how coins react.

The compounded growth of my portfolio is shown in the following figure. In the first figure, we're going to be showing high yielding coins and in the second one lower yielding coins.

Higher yielding coins

Here I excluded DV7 because it simply outperforms anything in my portfolio, at least in terms of staking gains :D.

Overall, I'd say that this is a good result and the developments will for sure be interesting. In these analyses, I cover only the relative change in coin prices, but the investment decision is absolutely on you.
