Hallo to all our fellow Steemers. Many of you have been following our posts, been talking to us and sharing your views over the last 5 months. I hope this has been as exciting for you as for us. We also have a large group of people that joined the project by taking part in our token pre sale offer to Steem. We are very excited to have you aboard.

Progress to date
While the first steps in this project started four years ago, our journey truly launched in February this year! Since then we have built a solid team, with numerous public and behind closed door advisors, not only for our ICO, but beyond. We have created and launched our website, www.sportspodium.net and have created some very exciting documents outlining why this project is so important for sport AND crypto, what we are going to do, and how we are going to do it.

Our first focus is on funding the project, thus the need to do a token offering. This will however not only fund the project but kickstart it by putting tokens in people's hands. That is one of the ultimate objectives, massive broad adoption of our token across the world.

We ran a small pre offer to you guys, but to do a major token offer where we hope to raise in the region of $15 000 000 we needed a little more time and a few more funds. You can not believe how expensive Token Sales are becoming, as we are competing with many others, and thus battle for attention, which costs money!

We will announce final dates of the project fund raise phase in the next 3-5 days, but we are planning to have a closed pre sale that will allow us to start the work on the project. We will then do the main token offering within a month and a half. All of this thus still happening in 2017.

We have a growing slack and telegram community and if you want to talk to us, please join those groups. We are very excited as we know where this project will go. We now want to start executing it and create amazing value for our POD holders, community and the Sports and Crypto world in general.

Thanks. I know we can, but funding will play a strong roll. Regardless this project has caused so much excitement in and out of the crypto world that we know we will make a massive impact

$15 million isn't a huge ask for an ICO with some potential. Best of luck with it.

Yes, you are right. Although it is what we need to make this work, and we do not believe in taking what you can get, especially when working with other people's money. Thanks for your well wishes. Exciting times ahead.

for me it is still hard to value all the individuals into sports vs. the organised channels with dedicated authors, editors and teams - hard for us individuals to stand out - but think you do a good job, you are successful for sure.
