Most coins today pose many difficulties when it comes to mining. More often than not, users can't afford to start mining because the initial cost is too large. Stellite and X-Cash are aiming to solve this problem.

Stellite (XTL) and X-Cash (XCASH) are two CPU mineable coins that are currently profitable to mine. I have mined each of them for the past couple of days and have made a decent amount of USD in the process. Both coins are Monero forks and use a form of the Cryptonight algorithm. Here is my in depth tutorial and review of my experience while mining each coin:

I mined each coin on my Acer Aspire E 15 Laptop which has the following Specs:

• CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-8250U Processor
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce MX150
• Storage: 256 GB SSD

I also mined each coin on a Vultr VPS Cloud Server which had an average hashrate of 60 h/s on both coins. Additionally, I do not have to pay for electricity so I did not account for electrical costs in my calculations.

Stellite (XTL):

The Stellite team aims at creating the first truly decentralized cryptocurrency. Stellite is unique in linking both the IPFS and ZeroNet technologies into a cryptocurrency and scaling it globally for both mobile and desktop usage. Stellite will be the first cryptocurrency worldwide to provide scalable global mobile mining. The development team is currently working on StellitePay, which is a payment gateway for Stellite. To say that Stellite's future is bright, is an understatement.

Review:

As you can see at first glance Stellite may not seem profitable to mine, however, with just a CPU you can still be mining 26,000 XTL per year. This may not seem like a lot but Stellite's future is very promising. If Stellite (XTL) was to be priced at $1.00 which may be realistic in a bull market, you would be mining $26,000 worth of XTL a year. If you were to mine with Two 8X Vega 56 GPU's you would be mining close to 6,000,000 XTL a year which at it's all time high, would be around $10,000 and if the price was to reach $1.00 you would be making $6,000,000 a year

How to Mine Stellite (XTL):

Setting up a Stellite (XTL) miner is probably the easiest mining experience I have ever had.

Steps:

1. First you must create a Stellite Wallet Address. You can do this by either downloading their Desktop Wallet or using their Paper Wallet Generator

2. Visit https://stellite.cash/miner/ and select the miner that matches your operating system.
   

3. Add an exclusion to the extracted folder so that your Anti-Virus software does not mistake the miner for malware. If you have no Anti-Virus Software you do not have to worry about this step.

   If you are using Windows Defender and you do not know how to do this, follow these instructions

4. Run the Stellite GUI Miner
   

5. Enter your Wallet Address when the Miner tells you to and choose XTLPOOL when it asks which pool you would like to join.

X-Cash (X-Cash):

The X-Cash development team markets the cryptocurrency as a platform that aims to become a global intermediary for all kind of payments and reduce transaction costs by 99%. Essentially it seems to be trying to solve the same problems as Ripple except in a more decentralized fashion.

Review:

As you can see X-Cash remains profitable to mine even if you are simply using just your CPU. At current prices you would be making about $40 a year however at all time high prices you would be making approximately $60 a year and if the price per X-Cash was to reach $1.00 (that would be a miracle) you would be making approximately $1,111,447.00 , yes, a million dollars.
If you are willing to invest more money for a larger return than I would recommend purchasing two 8X VEGA 56 GPU’s each of which cost $750. These would allow you to mine $8,857.44 worth of X-Cash based on current prices and $13,000 if the coins value was to return to it’s all time high. If the coin was to reach a price of $1.00 you would be making almost $250,000,000 a year.

How to mine X-Cash With CPU:

Mining X-Cash is a relatively easy process and can be done in about six steps.

Steps:

1. First you must create an X-Cash wallet address by either downloading their desktop wallet or by using their web wallet . For this, I used their web wallet. You must save your X-Cash Wallet address, you will need this to make sure the coins you mine get sent to you.

2. Visit https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig/releases and download the latest release for your operating system.
   

3. Extract the compressed folder into your desired directory.
   

4. Add an exclusion to the extracted folder so that your Anti-Virus software does not mistake the miner for malware. If you have no Anti-Virus Software you do not have to worry about this step.

5. Open the config.txt file, delete the contents and paste the following text into the file. Make sure to put your X-Cash Wallet address next to where it says “user” :

Conclusion:

Mining both coins was an enjoyable experience. I plan on continuing to mine each of them and writing a follow up post during the next bull market (if there is one).
